Oneplus Bullets Wireless Z Vs Bullets Wireless 2 - Initial Impressions

Oneplus Bullets Wireless Z Vs Bullets Wireless 2

So in the previous article, we covered the unboxing of Oneplus Bullets Z and how they look and feel in hand plus.

I told you on how you can save extra 200 rupees on your order if you have missed out on that I will leave a card at the end of this video, so many of you had a common burning question “ does the audio have latency while playing music and what is the latency while playing PUBG.

Well, I thought to cover these questions first before going to the final review. Now let’s talk about latency while playing music with Oneplus and other devices, so let’s do a simple test to measure it so first of all ill download this app called audio tester from google play store, it's a simple app that can help in measuring the latency of any Bluetooth earphones, and I will run this test on Oneplus 6 and POCO X2 so as to compare the results on Oneplus and non Oneplus devices, alright so the app will transmit a sound in Bluetooth earphones.

I will check the latency and mark using this black pen that is after how many seconds I hear the beep sound and that would be our latency for Oneplus Bullets Z and to I will do the same with my Bullets 2 as well, starting with Oneplus Bullets Z connected to my Oneplus 6. And I will turn on the Fnatic mode and test them.

So here is the delay in first beepSecond beep Third beep and so on .. so as you can see on an average. That comes in the range of 100-120 ms and that close to what was claimed by Oneplus and it’s impressive to have something that was claimed at this price range So for the Oneplus Bullets 2 it comes in the range of 0-100 ms. Now let’s talk about latency with other than Oneplus devices .. so I'll run the test again on my POCO X2 and as you know we do not have a compatible gaming mode in POCO X2.

We can expect a higher latency, and well it comes down to Around 100-200ms max but most of the time it was around 100-150 ms so that is great. So it's obviously more than what we got on Oneplus devices with Fnatic mode and that was expected from them but that is cool, if you haven't already And I also tested the latency of Oneplus Bullets2 on POCO X2 and the latency was in the range of 0-100 ms which is definitely better than Bullets Z.

Now talking about latency while playing games like PUBG on Oneplus and non Oneplus devices, So, first of all, I would like to say that please don't expect 0 latency from them as any Bluetooth earphones have some amount of delay no matter how good they are and if you are a hardcore gamer well .. stay away from these ..they are not the perfect choice for you, but for someone who does some casual gaming in day to day life.

I think these will do just fine I tried them with many games of PUBG and I found them performing almost like the Bullets 2, of course, it is not fair to compare these with Bullets 2 as they are almost 2 times the price of these .. but since you asked for it well here it is. So I think they are really good at anything you throw at them and for this price, you just can't complain.

So this was the latency test with PUBG mobile and with normal usage and I hope it answered all your questions so stay tuned for the final review so... like this article, if it helps you out and I will see you in the next one.
